Chase - Son Lux
The song is the 6th song from the new Son Lux record We Are Rising. What stuck me most was his ability to use natural sounds with electronic sublimely. We Are Rising achieves what most people forget about music, its ability to take you on a journey. We Are Rising creates a mood and a performance.
The album grew out of a challenge by NPR asking Ryan Lott to record an entirely new Son Lux album, from start to finish, in just one month. The album is a work of art and the achievement is simultaneously uplifting as well as depressing.
